about me
Hey everybody! This is my first blog and I am very excited to get started! This blog is about my original comic, Instant Isaac. My favorite cartoonists are Charles M. Schulz, Bill Watterson, and Mark Anderson. I love their cartoons Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts, and Andertoons. Instant Isaac, (my comic) came to be when I started to create a comic of a young boy with spiky hair. At that point, I didn’t really know what to call my cartoon, so I just put on the title: Comics. For Christmas, my parents bought me a drawing desk which I had been begging them about. While I was drawing one day, the name for my spiky-haired character popped into my head and that’s how Isaac was born! Later the word “instant” was added to the title because it sounded good. I draw a fresh strip daily but my editor (a.k.a. my dad) will only post one strip a week. (update) is letting me post up to two strips a week!

I love it Josh! I went to high school with Robb Armstrong who writes the Nationally Syndicated comic strip, “JumpStart”. Are you familiar with that comic strip? It’s wonderful to see you creating such great stuff! Keep it up.
